The FTV 468 CM (Civil and Military frequencies) and FTV 468 C (Civilian only) are meant for the aviation community, designed to detect ELT, EPIRB, Mini/B and PLB emergency transmitting beacons for search and rescue purposes. The responding Search and Rescue unit needs to find the exact location to perform its mission quickly and the small size of the FTV 468 CM and FTV 468 C allows the searchers to move rapidly over rough terrain and in bad weather, while receiving accurate directional data.

The Tracker 468 CM unit is the only one on the market with fully automatic functions, which is important in extreme situations. Tracker 468 CM automatically selects the actual distress signal, avoiding human error in channel selection and eliminates any back signal.

FTV 468CM and FTV 468C with Practice Transmitters

The FTV 468CM and FTV 468C can be used with practice transmitters. The receiver has a second channel for training. Additionally, while in difficult terrain or foul weather, the practice transmitter can be left with the emergency vehicle, and the second channel used to quickly guide rescuers back to the vehicle.
